If you are selling your leasehold property, you must order a leaseholder sales pack.
The pack provides information about your property to the buyer’s solicitor. It may also be required for remortgaging. This is a legal requirement.
It includes:
- an up-to-date statement of your service charge account
- the current service charge estimate
- service charge accounts for the last 3 years
- buildings insurance information
- fire and asbestos risk assessments
- Section 20 notices about major works
- information about planned or future work to the block or estate
- general information about the property, including the number of flats in the building and how many have been sold
Only you or your solicitor can request this pack.
The fee for the pack is £312.
How to order
Use the online form to order a sales pack. You must pay the fee before submitting the form.
To pay the fee:
- pay by BACS and use 'SP + the property address' as your payment reference - see Ways to make a payment
- take a screenshot of the payment (you'll need to upload this when you complete the form)
To complete the form, you will need:
- names of the leaseholders
- the property address
- your solicitor’s details
- the purchaser’s details
- the purchaser’s solicitor’s details
- proof of payment
