An assisted bin collection is where, on collection day, our crew will collect all your bins and sacks from your property. You must apply for this service.

You may qualify for assisted collections if you are:

  • blind or partially sighted
  • physically unable to move your wheelie bins

You can use our online form to

  • request assisted collections
  • stop assisted collections
  • report a problem with your assisted collections

Request, stop or report a problem with assisted bin collections

What happens next

Our recycling and waste team will review your request. We aim to reply within 10 working days.

We may need to:

  • ask for further information
  • inspect the property

Use the right bins

Even if you have assisted collections, you must still put the right things in the right bin or sack.

If our crew finds the wrong things in your bins they will not collect them from your property.
