Oxford City Council runs a bulky waste service that provides two free collections of up to three items to each address in Oxford.
The bulky waste service is used for items that cannot be taken away on a normal waste and recycling collection.
This form is to order a collection - we will then contact you back to finalise the collection date. We aim to make collections within 20 working days (please note if booking multiple items, these could be on different dates).
Before booking your collection, have you considered reusing or donating your items? Information and help can be found on Oxford City Council's website.
Temporary changes to fridge and freezer collections
Due to a national issue affecting the processing and recycling of fridges and freezers, we have temporarily paused accepting new bulky waste collection bookings for these items. Booking is due to resume in late September 2026.
Residents are asked to keep hold of their appliance where possible until collection services resume. Alternatively, many retailers offer take-back services when delivering a replacement appliance, while some also provide paid collection services for unwanted fridges and freezers.
