To apply for the scheme, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Contact us

To book an appointment with the Homelessness Prevention Team, please call 01865 249811 and select option 3 for Housing Needs.

Step 2: Prepare for your appointment

You will need to provide identification, three months of bank statements, and proof of income such as Universal Credit and/or payslips for yourself and your partner if you are a couple.

Step 3: Appointment and assessment

During your appointment, you will be assessed by the Homelessness Prevention Team.

If suitable for the scheme, your Homeless Prevention Officer will complete a referral to the PRS (Private Rented Sector) Procurement and Placement Team.

Our PRS (Private Rented Sector) Procurement and Placement Team will then confirm suitability.
