We use the RingGo system in our car parks so you can pay for parking easily by phone, using a credit or debit card.
How to register for RingGo
You need an account to use RingGo. You can register at the time you want to park or you can pre-register to save time later.
Ways to pay with RingGo
Pay with the app
The smartphone app is the simplest way to pay for parking. It will find your nearest RingGo zone and more.

Pay by telephone
The telephone number to pay by phone is displayed on signs at car parks where RingGo is used.
For car parks managed by Oxford City Council, ring 01865 989 000 from your mobile phone (RingGo recognises mobile numbers from your account).
This automated service will ask you to confirm the vehicle you're parking, the location, how long you want to park and the security code from your credit or debit card.

Pay by text
You can send a short text message including the location code, duration and the security code from your credit or debit card.

Pay online
If you have a device with internet access you can pay from the RingGo website.
Login at the MyRingGo website from your internet browser.

Charges and fees
Other charges and fees you may incur on top of the parking tariff are:
- a convenience charge - usually 20p and shows on your monthly credit/debit card statement, see What is the Convenience charge at the RingGo website to learn more
- 20p per message if you request texts to confirm parking sessions or alert you when your session is about to run out
- standard call rates from your operator if you pay by telephone (could be included in free bundle minutes)
- if you pay by text you'll pay:
- any agreed text rate from your operator to send your text (could be included in free text bundles)
- 20p to receive the automatic confirmation message from RingGo
