Oxford City Council has launched two new drop-in sessions where residents can raise concerns about anti-social behaviour and issues in their neighbourhood.
The sessions take place at Barton Neighbourhood Centre and East Oxford Community Centre every other Tuesday from 12pm to 2pm, with the next session taking place on 3 November.
Residents can speak to the council's Community Response Team in an informal setting, get advice and discuss issues affecting their area, including fly-tipping, waste in gardens, noise nuisance and other environmental concerns.
The drop-in sessions are intended to provide advice and support and do not offer an immediate emergency response. If an issue involves a crime or an immediate risk to a person or property, residents should contact the police.
If you are a tenant of a social housing provider and have a complaint of anti-social behaviour relating to the property that you live in, contact your landlord.
Pilot drop in sessions
The Council will also be piloting two additional drop-in sessions in Blackbird Leys and Greater Leys over the coming months, where residents can report any concerns.
The team will be piloting a drop-in session at Leys Pool & Leisure Centre from 11am-1pm, starting from 10 November. The session will take place on the second Tuesday of every month between November and January. The team will also be attending Breakfast in the Barn sessions in Greater Leys, once a month from 9.30am-11.30, starting on 9 November.

Comment
"These new drop-in sessions are a great opportunity to speak directly to the Community Response Team face to face. We know that sometimes it’s easier to talk to someone face to face, and our team is here to listen, offer advice and help address your concerns."
