"We want to express our shared shock and horror at the terrorist incident that took place at Heaton Park Synagogue in Manchester today.
"We are horrified that on Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar, Manchester's Jewish community - and by extension the wider Jewish community - has been targeted with this act of violence.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their loved ones, and members of the local community. We also want to express our appreciation of colleagues at Manchester's emergency services and the local council for their swift response. We know that Oxfordshire's residents will join us in sharing our solidarity and sympathies at this time."
