Oxford’s leisure centres are hosting a Big Open Weekend on 5 and 6 October, with two days of free fitness taster sessions, classes, events and more for the whole family to enjoy.
Run by operator More Leisure Community Trust (MCLT), the Big Open Weekend will offer activities for the whole family including free swimming, badminton and soft play for children. There will also be free gym classes, taster sessions, friendly advice, special offers and much more available across the centres, including taster beginner skate lessons and free skate sessions at Oxford Ice Rink, which is also celebrating its 40th birthday this weekend.
The four centres taking part over the two days are Barton Leisure Centre, Ferry Leisure Centre, Leys Pools & Leisure Centre and Oxford Ice Rink. To find the centre nearest to you, so you can start planning your Big Open Weekend, please visit the Oxford City Leisure website.
