Residents and community groups have been doing great work picking up litter in Oxford.
Although we work hard to keep our public spaces clear of litter, we know that many people enjoy doing their part in keeping their community clean and for that we thank you.
Join a local event or report litter to us
OxClean do regular clean up events and have many ways to get involved on the OxClean website. You can also search for events on the Planet Patrol website.
If you see litter when out and about, please report litter to us.
How we can help if you want to run your own event
We can provide groups and individuals with litter picking equipment and collecting the bags of litter after your pre-arranged litter pick.
We offer:
- litter pickers
- branded bags for rubbish and recyclables
If you’re planning to use our service to do your community litter pick then please email the ODS Streetscene Team on streetscene@odsgroup.co.uk (ideally at least 2 weeks before) so we can book you in and make arrangements to get the equipment to you and pick up the bags of collected litter afterwards.
Whichever way you decide to do your litter pick please stay safe - please don’t litter pick by busy roads and please follow the guidance from Keep Britain Tidy.
