Where work is being carried out unreasonably we can take action to minimise (but not stop) disturbance.
Noise from DIY work in the home is not the same as noise from construction sites. The working hours imposed on building sites would not normally apply to home DIY jobs. This is because people can often only undertake DIY work in the evenings and at weekends.
What action we will take
Initially we will attempt to negotiate a mutually acceptable agreement informally between neighbours.
