At the meeting on 10 March 2021, the Cabinet agreed to designate the whole of the city as an additional licensing scheme for HMOs.
At the meeting on 18 March 2026, the Cabinet agreed to designate the whole of the city as an additional licensing scheme for HMOs.
This means that all HMOs including those which are self-contained flats and so far as section 257 of the Housing Act 2004 are HMOs, require a licence.
