We provide a caretaking service to help keep communal areas in council properties clean, safe and well maintained.

If you live in a council tower block or low-rise flat, our caretakers look after communal areas such as entrances, stairways, hallways and other shared spaces.

What we do

Our caretakers regularly visit communal areas to inspect them and carry out essential maintenance. This includes:

  • routine maintenance and minor repairs, such as changing light bulbs or adjusting door closers
  • cleaning communal areas
  • providing an emergency caretaking service, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year

How to report an issue

Speak to customer services if you spot a problem in a communal area.

Please report the issue as soon as possible. We will investigate and arrange any necessary work.

How you can help us

You can help by:

  • reporting caretaking issues promptly
  • keeping communal areas tidy
  • making sure shared spaces are clear of bikes, pushchairs and other personal items
  • disposing of rubbish responsibly
