Payment methods for Building Control fees
When you submit your application we will calculate the fee, and then send you your application reference number along with details of the payment required. Payment must be made within 14 days.
You can pay by credit or debit card. Call us on 01865 252807 from Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 5pm, and on Fridays, 8.30am to 4pm. Please have your reference number ready - payment cannot be taken without it.
For BACS payments, visit our Ways to make a payment page. Remember to email buildingcontrol@oxford.gov.uk with your payment proof. Our Finance team will then link your payment to your application.
Requesting a quote for larger projects
For larger applications, commercial projects or confirmation of unlisted fees, you may wish to request a fee quote using our online form:

If you are unable to access the online form, email us at feequote@oxford.gov.uk with the following details:
- your name
- your preferred contact number
- the project's site address
- scaled drawings (both existing and proposed)
- an estimate of the building work cost (excluding finishes)
- any technical specifications
