Leaseholder property alterations request

Use this form to request permission to make alterations to a property owned by Oxford City Council

Before permission can be granted for a leaseholder to carry out their own alterations/additions to the property, the following conditions must be met and any relevant certification provided to the Surveying Manager

• Works are to be undertaken entirely at your own expense, and all subsequent maintenance/replacement to the works is to be your responsibility.
• All making good of works disturbed is your responsibility and must be to a professional standard.
• No expense in any form is to be incurred by Oxford City Council, as a result of permission being granted for the works requested.
• A letter signed by the Surveying Manager, granting permission for the specified works to be carried out, must be received by the Leaseholder before any works are started.
• Once permission has been granted, works must be completed within three months.
• On completion of the work you must inform Oxford City Council, who will arrange for an inspection of the alterations for the permission to be finalised.
