List of groups awarded Small Grants 2025-26

Below is a list of groups who have been awarded grants from the Oxford Community Impact Fund:

Round 1 - Small and Medium Grantees 2025-26

  • Action Deafness - Empowering *Deaf individuals, promoting accessibility and equality and enhancing their quality of life. We envision a future where Deaf individuals are not hindered by communication barriers and can access quality services on an equal basis with their hearing counterparts...*Denotes Deaf, Deafened, Hard of Hearing and Deafblind people of all ages.
  • Blackbird Leys Amateur Boxing Club - Our Vision is that every young person in Blackbird Leys who wants to learn boxing has the opportunity to join our club, to promote discipline, fitness and mental and physical wellbeing to everyone of all races, religions and sexes without prejudice.
  • Botley Bridges – Provide vital support services to families in West Oxford, Botley and Cumnor and beyond. We recognise that all families need support and advice - this funding would allow us to keep running our weekly programme of support groups, plus workshops and courses.
  • Damascus Rose Kitchen - We will host three free community dinners in the Old Fire Station’s (OFS) cafe, run collaboratively by Damascus Rose Kitchen (DRK) and the Old Fire Station. These events will bring together 50 people per dinner from all walks of life across Oxford, especially from migrant communities and areas in East Oxford.
  • Dovecote Voluntary Parent Committee – Through offering a variety of activities and opportunities not normally accessible i.e. intergenerational programmes and activities, family and intergenerational trips, afterschool clubs, holiday schemes, SEND (special educational needs) sessions, stay and play, we will support families and communities.
  • East Oxford Stay and Play - We are working to ensure that children from challenging and hard-to-engage families in an area with pockets of high deprivation arrive at school with levels of prior attainment, language and social skills that give them a chance of transformative progress.
  • East Oxford Stay and Play - Helping young children to settle, improve language, social, emotional and communication skills by knowing a range of familiar songs and stories. Increase the provision of support for vulnerable, pre-school aged children and their families so that they are school-ready, by starting weekly PEEP sessions for families and further outreach at home.
  • Elmore Community Services - This group is long established and enables current and previous clients to engage in a facilitated space to utilise their lived experience of mental health and of accessing services to inform the work Elmore does. The voice of members is amplified by Elmore participation in the Oxfordshire Mental Health Partnership, and Oxfordshire Homeless Alliance.
  • Fight Against Blindness (Fab) - We provide specialist psychological support to help children and young people with sight loss and visual impairment manage their mental health and eye conditions in everyday life. Our clinical psychologists work one-to-one with children, young people, parents and carers, with contact with schools or other services as required.
  • Headway Thames Valley Limited - Headway Thames Valley work with adults of all ages helping them live with brain injury. We provide a range of services and support whether it’s at Brunner Hall, our Centre in Henley-on-Thames, or through our Living with Brain Injury Courses and Brain Injury Support Groups.
  • Iranian Community Network (ICN) - The Iranian Community Network was established in August 2020 by a group of Iranian volunteers in Oxfordshire. ICN’s core purpose is to:
    • Enhance educational and employment opportunities, skills and knowledge within the Iranian refugee community of Oxfordshire.
    • Facilitate integration and inclusion of Iranians in Oxfordshire communities and advance the public’s understanding of the human rights situation in Iran, and more.
  • Littlemore Hub - At Littlemore Hub, we are dedicated to empowering every child and family in our vibrant community by providing holistic support and inclusive services. Our aim is to address the diverse needs of all residents, ensuring that everyone can shine brightly and thrive together.
  • Lowland Rescue Oxfordshire - Lowland Rescue Oxfordshire is the county's Search and Rescue Team. We work closely with Thames Valley Police searching for high risk missing people and provide food and water support to Oxfordshire Fire & Rescue Service. During major incidents we also provide aid to Oxfordshire County Council.
  • MuMo Creative - MuMo Creative is dedicated to enriching the lives of older adults living with age-related health conditions through creative dance, movement, and music sessions. Our mission is to enhance their quality of life by reducing the effects of aging, combating inactivity and loneliness, and promoting independence for as long as possible.
  • Music At Oxford - Changing, connecting and enriching lives through music.
  • Oxford Afrobeats Festival - Vision: To make Oxford a leading hub for Afrobeats culture, uniting diverse communities through music, arts, and heritage. Mission: To celebrate and promote Afrobeats by showcasing top artists, emerging talent, and cultural expressions, fostering inclusivity, cultural exchange, and community engagement through music, dance, art, and food.
  • Oxford Health Charity - Oxford Health Charity aims to enhance the experience of patients, carers, families and staff receiving support or working for Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust.
  • Oxford Lindy Hoppers - Oxford Lindy Hoppers is dedicated to preserving and promoting Lindy Hop and other swing era dances, with a focus on honouring their Black cultural origins while creating an inclusive, joyful dance community in Oxford.
  • Oxford Opera Trust CIO - World class opera for everyone with the people at its heart Providing top-class opera performances to the City of Oxford, featuring the best UK-based professionals alongside giving opportunity to the local young people to work in a professional production. We thrive to bring opera to all communities and especially to newcomers.
  • Oxford Peoples Theatre - OPT is Oxford’s only professionally led, participant-oriented intergenerational community theatre group for adults & young people aged 11+. We harness the transformative power of theatre to create community.
  • Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra Trust - Since 1998, the Oxford Philharmonic has brought inspirational performances to Oxford and beyond. The Orchestra is firmly committed to outreach work, with projects taking music to areas of social and economic disadvantage including hospitals and special schools, in partnership with Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council.
  • Oxford Poetry Library - OPL is a free and open resource of poetry for readers of all backgrounds, which also hosts inclusive and accessible writing workshops and literary events. We strive to foster a growing community of readers, provide a platform for local writers, and encourage the exploration and appreciation of poetry throughout Oxford.
  • Oxfordshire Asian Women's Voice - We support isolated Asian women from diverse backgrounds with the advancement of education, mental and physical health and well-being and the relief of poverty and sickness. We provide a safe space where they can socialise, gain knowledge and skills and get advice with and help on a range of topics.
  • Parents And Children Together - PACT specialises in supporting people to rebuild from trauma and abuse. PACT is committed to supporting the recovery of families impacted by domestic abuse, empowering women facing multiple disadvantages and placing children with secure families, enabling them to embrace a positive future.
  • Response Organisation - Our vision: To provide mental health support and housing that helps people live fulfilling lives in their communities. We aim to be a leading provider of early intervention, personalised care, and support for people with serious mental illness and those at risk of homelessness.
  • Rose Hill and Iffley Low Carbon - RHILC works to involve our community in practical ways of cutting pollution and energy use, protecting nature and living sustainably. We want to include people of all political views, faiths, ethnicities and incomes because we believe that the climate crisis is our common problem which we must fight together.
  • Rose Hill Community Larder - Rose Hill Community Larder is a community initiative with a mission to reduce food waste and make good food affordable.
  • Safe Families for Children - Safe Families and Home for Good have a bold vision, together, we hope for a society where no families feel alone, and every child has a home where they can flourish.
  • South Oxford Community-Association - We believe in a sustainable and resilient ecosystem of support services. Our mission is to bring together people of different ages, backgrounds, cultures, and abilities, promoting inclusivity and diversity and offer basic physical and social resources to facilitate a safe and stable community.
  • Sport In Mind - Our vision is 'A better life for anyone experiencing mental health problems'. Our mission is to improve the lives of people experiencing mental health problems through sport and physical activity.
  • Syrian Community Oxfordshire - SYRCOX is a charity work based in Oxfordshire that helps disadvantaged and vulnerable people to transform their lives by inspiring them to engage with community projects.
  • Syrian Sisters - Our vision is one where women from all cultural backgrounds are empowered to feel safe, happy, secure in Oxford and are more connected to local activities, services and people. We are a group run by and for Syrian refugee women.
  • Tandem Oxford CIC - Tandem Collective incubates and produces inclusive, innovative and inspiring creative collaborations which engage with environmental and social issues. Our projects find original ways to platform these issues.
  • The Good Gym - GoodGym is the only charity in Oxford and the UK that combines fitness with community volunteering, helping people stay active, improve their wellbeing, and make a real impact in their local area. We run, walk and cycle to support community groups and causes and older people facing isolation and loneliness.
  • The Oxford Preservation Trust - For almost 100 years, Oxford Preservation Trust has helped protect Oxford’s historic buildings, green spaces and historic setting. Through advocacy, conservation, and engagement, we increase awareness of and enhance the city’s special character for the benefit of the people who live, work and visit here.
  • The Oxford Voice - Oxford Voice is a free, people-centred, independent community newspaper, delivering a positive source of news and information contributed by local people; actively promoting and celebrating great work going on in the area, tackling stigma and marginalisation around mental health, disability, homelessness and other members of society who face social isolation.
  • The Porch - Our aim is to help homeless, recently rehoused homeless or vulnerably house people tackle issues that prevent them moving forward and that help break the cycle of vulnerability to homelessness. We provide hot, nutritious lunches to members and a package of targeted personal support relating to housing, employment and welfare.
  • The Village Hall, Littlemore - The Village Hall aims to provide a comfortable, well-maintained community space and garden for use by all local people for meetings, classes, music, crafts, exercise and health promotion, and social activities, with the object of improving conditions of life for all.
  • WEMPOWERED CIC - WEMPOWERED CIC is a Community Interest Company dedicated to empowering mothers and their children in Blackbird Leys and the surrounding areas of Oxford, UK, through three core pillars: Connection, Wellbeing, and Growth.
  • Wild Boor Ideas - With an inclusive approach we create a unique mix of songs, music, puppetry, interactivity and silliness with carefully targeted content to make imaginative storytelling theatre and participatory activities. We focus on working in socio-economic areas delivering work for families (0-7) and those with Autism and Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties
  • Wood Farm Youth Centre - The WFYC aims to improve the well-being of young people and their families by providing a safe meeting space and the opportunity to engage in social education and recreational activities.
