We are preparing resources based on the current weather forecast that includes a yellow warning for snow from 3pm on Thursday until 12 noon on Friday.
The gritters and associated support equipment will be mobilised in conjunction with Oxfordshire County Council, based on the anticipated timing of the snow.
In addition to our main road gritting operations, our Streetscene staff will undertake gritting and snow clearing operations in the pedestrian areas of the city centre along with the pedestrian routes to key transport hubs, such as Gloucester Green bus station and train station.
We will also review the locations that our refuse and recycling teams will be serving on Friday and plan resources accordingly.
