Hinksey Heated Outdoor Pool is now open for the 2018 summer season.
The large heated pool is located in Hinksey Park and has a shallow fun area for children and a deeper section for serious swimmers, plus water features, large grass sunbathing area and a cafe.
Season tickets prices are:
- Adults - £199
- U17, Over 60 - £102.50
- Family (2 adults & up to 3 children) - £385
Season weekday opening times are:
- April: 7am - 6pm
- May: 7am - 7pm
- June to August: 7am - 8pm
- September: 7am - 6pm
The pool opens one hour later at 8am on the weekends and Bank Holidays.
Children aged 16 or under are able to participate in free swimming sessions, organised by Oxford City Council. These free sessions will be taking place on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at the following times:
- April: 4pm - 6pm
- May: 4pm - 7pm
- June to August: 4pm - 8pm
- September: 4pm - 7pm
Mike Harrison, General Manager of the pool said: “After completing a lot of work in the off season, we are really looking forward to the season. We hope the local population will continue to support us with this early season opening and come along to enjoy swimming in the great outdoors”
