Oxford City Council is delighted to support the Foodies Festival, taking place at South Park between Friday 1 and Sunday 3 September.
Helping to ensure that everyone in Oxford gets an opportunity to join in the fun, festival organisers have made 500 free tickets available to the city’s council tenants.
Whether it’s tucking into London’s best street food or taking afternoon tea, there’s something for everyone at this years’ event.
Visitors will have the opportunity to watch celebrity cooks including Saturday Kitchen’s Matt Tebbutt and Great British Bake Off 2016 winner, Candice Brown, cooking up a storm in the kitchen, take part in champagne, wine and beer masterclasses, take part in the famous Chilli-Eating Challenge, and more. Away from the food, there are children’s activities, yoga classes, and live music from some of the UK’s most exciting unsigned bands.
Two-for-one tickets plus goody bags are available at the Foodies Festival website with code FOODIES241.
Councillor Dee Sinclair, Board Member for Culture and Communities, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming the Foodies Festival back to Oxford and are grateful to the organisers for allocating so many free tickets for residents who may otherwise not be able to afford to attend. It promises to be an entertaining and tasty event.”
