Oxford City Council is delighted to support the Oxford Half Marathon, back on Sunday 8 October as the Virgin Sport Oxford Half Marathon.

Tickets are now on sale for the 13.1 mile route, which will go through and past some of the most beautiful places in the city including the Clarendon Building, Old Marston and the Radcliffe Camera.

There will be a plethora of entertainment along the route with local bands and DJs placed every mile to make sure participants are running to a beat. The Race Village in University Parks will feature local food and more entertainment.

A limited number of early bird tickets at £40 are available, including free photos, an Asics technical finisher’s t-shirt, a medal, tote bag and spectator app. Tickets are available to purchase from the Virgin Sport website.

Councillor Dee Sinclair, Board Member for Culture and Communities, said: “We are delighted to support the Virgin Sport Oxford half marathon.  With thousands of runners expected to take part and plenty of entertainment along the way, this promises to be a lively and fun event in our city.”
