Vehicles and equipment will be auctioned off by Oxford City Council on Saturday 13 May.
On offer are over 100 lots, including cars, vans and tippers, as well as handheld gardening equipment, mowers, trailers, tools, workshop equipment and even some mobility scooters. There will also be a number of specialised and interesting lots, including ride on rollers and bowling green mowers.
Ian Bourton, Fleet Manager at Oxford City Council, said: “We are really excited that the vehicle and plant auction is returning this year with such a large number of items for sale. This is a great opportunity for residents to come along and grab a bargain.”
Oxford City Council auctions have been held since 1996 and this is the only auction of 2017. The auction is held by Milton Keynes Motor Stadium Auctions and will be held at the Marsh Road Depot, Cowley.
Auctioneer Mick Blacow, who is travelling from Milton Keynes for the event, said “These auctions attract all sorts of people, businesses, commercial dealers and private individuals. We are expecting between 200 and 300 people to attend.”
The auction will start at 11am, and gates will be open at 9.30am for viewing and registration.
