Residents of Oxford and the surrounding areas of Botley, South Hinksey, North Hinksey, Kennington and Wytham are invited to the Oxford Area Flood Partnership 2015 Open Forum.
The event will take place at Oxford Town Hall on Tuesday 13 October 2015, 7pm to 9pm.
Members of the Oxford Area Flood Partnership (OAFP) will be on hand to talk to you about their work, including the Oxford and Abingdon Flood Alleviation Schemes and Thames Water Sewer Catchment Study.
Oxfordshire County Council Emergency Planning Unit will also be on available to offer advice on how to best prepare for flooding.
Other partners, including Oxford City Council, Vale of White Horse District Council, Environmental Agency and Network Rail, will have representatives on hand to answer your questions.
The open evening will start with a brief presentation introducing the OAFP and their work.
Bob Price, Leader of Oxford City Council, said: “This open event is a great opportunity for local people to learn more and find out about what is being done to support them in the case of a flood.”
