Bargain hunters are being invited to this year’s Oxford City Council’s annual vehicle and plant auction on Saturday 23 April, 11am, Cowley Marsh Depot, Marsh Road Oxford OX4 2HH.
There are over 200 lots and includes cars, vans, and tippers, as well as gardening equipment, generators, stones saws, power tools, decorating supplies and even new kitchen units and much more.
There will also be a number of specialised and interesting lots, including wood chippers and a bank climbing ride on mower.
The auctions have been held since 1996. Last year we saw almost 400 people snapping up bargains at this popular event.
Ian Bourton, Motor Transport and Fleet Manager at Oxford City Council, said:
“We are really excited that the vehicles and plant auction is returning. This is a great opportunity for residents to come along and grab a bargain.”
The auction is held by Milton Keynes Motor Stadium Auctions. Auctioneer Mick Blacow, who is travelling from Milton Keynes for the event, said: “These auctions are unique and attract all sorts of people, businesses, commercial dealers and private individuals. Everyone is welcome to come along and have an enjoyable day.”
Gates will be open at 9am for viewing and registration. The auction will start at 11am.
