More and more, technology is playing an increasing role in how customers access services and carry out business with the Council.
As a result Oxford City Council has put together a draft Customer, Digital and Technology strategy and is asking residents and service users to give their feedback, thoughts and ideas on it.
The aim is to shape and improve the services the Council provides and to make it easier for customers to contact and interact with the Council.
Cllr Nigel Chapman, Board Member for Customer Focused Service, said: "This new strategy will continue to focus on putting our customers at the heart of everything we do. It will ensure that we use technology effectively to deliver our services and information and remain responsive to our customers' needs.
"Many of our services are currently available online and thousands now access services in this way. But there is still room to improve the way we do this and by completing the consultation residents can make sure that they help us to shape those services in a way that works for them.
"We're also aware that digital technology doesn't work for everyone, so we will continue to offer more traditional ways of contacting the Council."
