If you want to find out what it's like to work for Oxford City Council, and the benefits that are on offer for Council employees, then come along to one of our two recruitment roadshows later this month.
There is no need book, just turn up for the chance to chat to Council staff and see what's on offer. There will also be an opportunity to get tips on writing a top-quality CV and preparing for those all-important interviews.
The roadshows are running on:
21 February, 4pm to 7pm at Rose Hill Community Centre, Carole’s Way, OX4 4HF.
28 February, 4pm to 7pm at Blackbird Leys Community Centre, Blackbird Leys Road, OX4 6HW.
Cllr Nigel Chapman, Board Member for Customer Focused Services, said: "We want to get out into the wider community to spread the word about how the City Council can be a great organisation to work for. These open evenings offer a great opportunity for us to meet members of our community, and to be able to share with them what it’s like working in the Council.
"On this occasion, we wanted to go a bit further, and provide additional benefits for people coming to the evening, by providing a CV-writing skills session and interview tips. The evenings will give us a chance to give people a flavour of what it is like to work in the different roles we have on offer, as well as highlighting the benefits of a career with us.”
