Please download the application form, fill it in within a word processor, and return it by email as an editable document.

Please ensure you also sign a copy of our terms and conditions. We cannot process your application without this.

Filming for news on our land

Accredited news outlets/agencies wishing to film on our land for a broadcasted and/or streamed news programme do not need to complete the standard filming application forms through our Events team.

Please direct your requests to the Press office - pressoffice@oxford.gov.uk -  who will be in contact regarding your filming.

South park offers a large, open space comprised of approximately 50 acres of land and it is within easy walking distance of both the city centre and Cowley Road.

The park offers fantastic general views over Oxford's dreaming spires.

The ice rink itself covers a wide area (56m x 26m) with plenty of natural light flooding through due to the eastern wall being fully glazed.

The rink is housed in a large, open building offering a very versatile space that could be used in multiple ways.

The rink is based in a fantastic location in the heart of the city meaning that it is extremely close to Oxford's beautiful city centre and can be easily accessed by film and TV crews.;

Carfax Tower in the snowCarfax Tower

Located at the junction of St Aldate's and Cornmarket Street in the very centre of the historic city of Oxford, Carfax Tower is the perfect place to take a birds eye view of Oxford's dreaming spires.

Climb the 99 steps for unrivalled views of the city and University. The tower is open to visitors daily.
