Smoking Ban in Play Areas
After positive feedback from a trial smoking ban in enclosed play areas, all play areas across Oxford are now no-smoking.

We are continually working to improve your parks and play areas. Your views and suggestions help us to do this. See our Consultation system for a list of current consultations.
South Oxford Adventure Playground
The South Oxford Adventure Playground (SOAP) is open for exciting, adventurous play for children aged 7 and over.
The playground provides space in a natural environment for play that is creative and physically challenging. Supervised by trained playworkers who support their play, children are encouraged to explore, climb and have fun.
SOAP is situated behind Grandpont Children's Centre, Whitehouse Road, OX1 (opposite the Brasenose College sports pitches on the Abingdon Road). For more information please see the SOAP Facebook page.
