In June 2014 we commissioned, jointly with Oxfordshire County Council, Peter Brett Associates LLP (PBA) in association with JMP and FITIT to undertake a study that examines the options which could be applied to improve road freight activity in Oxford.

The objectives of the study were to identify measures that will lead to:

  • Reduced congestion
  • Improved air quality
  • Reduced number of accidents, particularly involving cyclists and pedestrians
  • A better public realm environment that will benefit business
  • The promotion of shorter term financially viable options
