Energy Company Obligation (ECO) is a requirement placed on energy companies to help improve domestic energy performance of the homes of vulnerable people or those in fuel poverty.
There is a Flexible Eligibility option as part of the ECO schemes which allows Oxford City Council to set its own criteria to direct assistance towards those at risk of fuel poverty, but falling outside of the normal rules of ECO (usually qualifying benefits).
To access the Flexible Eligibility funding the City Council must publish a Statement of Intent.
The referrals for ECO schemes are managed on our behalf through our Better Housing Better Health Service provided by the National Energy Foundation.
If you think you, or someone you know, may qualify then please contact Better Housing Better Health. Better Housing Better Health is a single point of contact for information on keeping warm and lowering your energy bills.
