What is the Bonus card?
If you're an Oxford resident (living in postcodes OX1 to OX4) and on qualifying benefits, the Bonus card gives you discounted membership and pay as you go prices at Oxford's public leisure centres:
- Barton Leisure Centre
- Ferry Leisure Centre
- Hinksey Heated Outdoor Pool (April to September)
- Leys Pools and Leisure Centre
- Oxford Ice Rink
- Rose Hill Community Centre Gym (see below)
Monthly membership
The discounted monthly membership costs £21.30 and gives you unlimited access to the gym, classes and swimming.
There is no setup fee.
Pay as you go
The pay as you go card gives you discounts at the leisure centres with no monthly membership fee, just pay each time you want to go. Prices are £2.10 for off-peak sessions and £2.60 for peak sessions. A range of ice rink sessions are available, from £2.10 to £2.60.
There is a one-off setup fee of £3.
Rose Hill Community Centre Gym
You can also use the gym at Rose Hill Community Centre, which is included free of charge with a monthly Bonus card membership. Pay as you go prices are set by the centre. Before your first visit, you will need to call the community centre on 01865 749597 in order to get set up on their system. Once this is done, gym sessions can be booked either by calling up or by visiting the centre in person (must be done in advance).

- Council Tax Reduction Scheme
- Disability Living Allowance
- Foster Carers
- Housing Benefit
- Pension Credit
- Registered Blind/Disabled
- Severe Disablement Allowance
- Universal Credit Housing Element
How to apply
Visit or contact one of the leisure centres listed below. You will need to show proof of your address and benefits, which will need to be dated within the last 3 months. Proof of address can include a recent utility or council tax bill, or a bank statement.
