Wood Farm Community Insight Profile Grant Funding

About the Grant

This grant is part of the Wood Farm Community Insight Profile programme, which aims to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for residents in Wood Farm. Funding is available for local organisations and groups to deliver projects that respond to the needs and priorities identified in the Community Insight Profile.

Who can apply

We welcome applications from:

  • Resident-led groups
  • Local voluntary and community groups
  • Charities and social enterprises
  • Schools and youth organisations

Applicants must:

  • Be based in or deliver services in Wood Farm
  • Have a bank account in the organisation’s name (support can be offered if you don’t already have one)
  • Be able to deliver the project between September 2025 to August 2026

What we’re looking for

Projects should address one or more of the following outcomes identified in the Wood Farm Community Insight Profile:

  • Improved access to healthy food: e.g. community meals, cooking sessions, food growing
  • Increased physical activity: e.g. walking groups, fitness sessions, dance or sport
  • Support for mental wellbeing: e.g. peer support, creative activities, social connection
  • Youth engagement: e.g. activities for young people, especially during school holidays
  • Tackling isolation: e.g. befriending, community events, intergenerational projects
  • Use of local assets: e.g. making use of community venues, green spaces, or local skills

We are especially interested in projects that:

  • Are co-produced with local residents
  • Build on existing community strengths
  • Are inclusive and accessible to all

The application form will ask for:

  • A short description of your project
  • Who it will benefit
  • How it links to the outcomes above
  • Your budget and timeline

Scoring will be primarily based on the information provided in your application. However in some instances we might require a follow up conversation if more information is required to make a decision.

Depending on the number of applications received we may invite applicants back to present their ideas.

Successful applicants will be funded on completion of a Minimal Financial Assistance (MFA) declaration. For more information about what an MFA is please visit the Government Legislation website.

Successful applicants will be subject to a process of due diligence checks on their organisation including providing evidence of their organisations constitution, bank account, and information on the make-up of the groups and trustees.
