If you're an Oxford resident (usually living in postcodes OX1 to OX4 - see map of Oxford city boundary) and on qualifying benefits, you can get discounted membership and pay as you go prices at Oxford's public leisure centres:
- Barton Leisure Centre
- Ferry Leisure Centre
- Hinksey Heated Outdoor Pool (April to September)
- Leys Pools and Leisure Centre
- Oxford Ice Rink
Also included is Rose Hill Community Centre Gym.
This scheme is sometimes called the Bonus card. A card is not required, as your discounts will be added to your online leisure account when you register with your local leisure centre.
Monthly membership
The discounted monthly membership gives you unlimited access to the gym, classes and swimming for just £24 per month.
Visit your local leisure centre to join. Please note you will need to show proof of your address and benefits, which will need to be dated within the last 3 months. Proof of address can include a recent utility or council tax bill, or a bank statement.

Pay as you go
The pay as you go card gives you discounts at the leisure centres with no monthly membership fee, just pay £2.10 each time you want to do an activity. There is a one-off setup fee of £3.10.

Rose Hill Community Centre gym
You can also use the gym at Rose Hill Community Centre, which is included free of charge with a monthly Bonus card membership. Pay as you go prices are set by the centre. Before your first visit, you will need to call the community centre on 01865 749597 in order to get set up on their system. Once this is done, gym sessions can be booked either by calling up or by visiting the centre in person.

Asylum seekers and refugees
You can qualify for these discounts if you're someone seeking asylum or have refugee status. If this applies to you, please visit your local leisure centre with your proof of eligibility (from the list below). A support worker can do this on your behalf.
