Candidates’ nominations for the Oxford City Council elections must be submitted to the Returning Officer, via The Town Hall, St.Aldate’s, Oxford, OX1 1BX no later than 4pm on Thursday 8 April.

Nomination papers are available from the Returning Officer. For more information about nominations please contact Electoral Services. Email elections@oxford.gov.uk or phone 01865 249811.

The names and descriptions of the candidates nominated will be available as soon as possible after the closing time of 4pm on Thursday 8 April.

Information and guidance for County and City candidates, prepared nationally by the Electoral Commission is available from the Commission’s website.

Nomination papers for candidates will not be available from the Council’s website, but will be supplied by the Elections Office on request or they may be downloaded from the Electoral Commission website. If using the forms from the Commission, it is essential to print all the necessary documents in full.
