As a general rule, we do not collect these types of items:
- items that included toughened glasses, such as a glass coffee table/glass fronted fridges
- DIY, construction and demolition waste
- fitted kitchens, bathroom suites, internal doors
- garden sheds, fences, wooden gates and greenhouses
- animal hutches and crates
- garden waste that will not fit in a sack
- any waste from business premises
Where to take items we don't collect
Most bulky waste items can be taken to Redbridge Household Waste Recycling Centre but there may be steps to follow and charges in place for some items. Our table of items below shows items that we can't collect and guidance for what to do with them. Please get in touch if you have an item not listed.
