Support when starting a job
We aim to support our customers into work with a bespoke in work support package because we know that starting a new job can be challenging as well as rewarding.
For customers we have helped find work we provide follow up support to assist the transition into the new job by providing practical information and advice, such as what to do on your first few days and how to arrange childcare.
We also assist by providing a benefit calculation on how much benefits you may still be entitled to, alongside advice on how to access additional financial support for travel fares, clothing for work and childcare costs through our partners. We can also offer some of our customers in receipt of discretionary housing payments a short extension of financial support once they start their new job.
