The Lord Mayor of Oxford, Councillor Jean Fooks is inviting people to attend her charity dinner; an evening of entertainment to help raise money for her local chosen charities:
- Response Giving
- Mayday Trust
- Wolvercote Young People’s Club
The charity dinner will be held on Friday 27 April 2018 from 7pm at Jury’s Inn Hotel, Godstow Road, Oxford.
The tickets are £45 per person, which includes a drink on arrival, a sumptuous three course dinner, a licenced bar, and musical entertainment from pianist Ilya Chetverikov and violinist Anna Snesar.
Lord Mayor of Oxford Councillor Jean Fooks said “Traditionally the Lord Mayor hosts a dinner to raise funds for her chosen charities. This year it is to raise funds for the MayDay Trust, a charity helping the homeless, Response Giving, helping those recovering from mental illness and the Wolvercote Young People’s Club, which provides youth activities in Wolvercote and Cutteslowe, We are very fortunate to have excellent musical entertainment from Russian pianist Ilya Chetverikov and violinist Anna Snesar.”

If people cannot attend the dinner but would still like to support the event, donations for the raffle would be very welcome.
