“This should be a wonderful long weekend with street parties and other celebrations across the city to mark the Coronation.

“The street parties offer our city’s diverse communities an opportunity to celebrate. I hope that neighbours will enjoy this chance to come together and mark this once in a generation occasion.”

Councillor James Fry, the Lord Mayor of Oxford

The Big Help Out, on Monday 8 May, encourages residents and community groups to get involved in volunteering on the Bank Holiday, to make a difference in their local areas. Residents can also add their celebration to the Coronation Map.For materials to help celebrate, including Coronation bunting templates, visit the Coronation Toolkit website.
