Oxford City Council is undertaking ground investigations at a plot of land in Meadow Lane earmarked for housing development.
Work will take place tomorrow (Tuesday 29 June) on a utilities scan for buried services and ground testing. This will involve the use of a small JCB to dig trial pits around 3-4 metres deep.
The work is expected to last around a day and the trial pits will be filled back in once investigations are complete. Trial pits will be supervised throughout the work. There will also be a portable toilet on site that will be collected once the work is complete.
