“Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council will end the free parking at Oxford’s five park and rides at the same time Oxfordshire moves into Tier 4 – 00:01 on Boxing Day (Saturday 26 December). The free parking, which was due to end on Sunday (27 December), aimed to support businesses in Oxford city centre, but under the Government’s Tier 4 rules non-essential retailers must close, people should work from home where possible and residents must not leave their home except where they have a reasonable excuse.”
