Oxfordshire’s Growth Board and its Scrutiny Panel meetings will be conducted online via video conferencing on 2 June and 28 May respectively.
Members will use an online video conferencing platform to take part in meetings and you can watch the proceedings using a link that will published on the meetings page along with the agenda.
Details and the link to each meeting will also be published via the Growth Board’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
If you wish to view a meeting, please visit the agenda page and click on the video link. This will be available nearer the meeting date.
While members are getting used to holding meetings in this new way, if you wish to take part in a meeting, you will need to submit a statement or question by email in advance – it will then be read out on your behalf at the meeting.
In order for your contribution to be included for the Scrutiny Panel on May 28 you must email your text in full no later than 4pm on Wednesday 27 May 2020.
Questions for the Growth Board meeting on June 2 must be sent in full and in writing to the same email address and received by 5pm on Wednesday 27 May 2020.
Once these new online meetings can be carried out effectively and within the guidelines, online public participation by video will be considered if virtual meetings are still taking place for future Growth Board meetings.
The main item on both agendas will be discussing the current and future impact of the Coronavirus pandemic on delivering the Oxfordshire Housing and Growth Deal.

That focus very much continues, but the growth board will have an important role to play as we look for ways to help build a better future for our residents after the pandemic, so it’s important that we’re able to carry out this meeting online.
“This will be quite a milestone as it will mark the first time that we’ve carried out a meeting online across multiple organisations in this way, using a number of platforms. This first session will be a good test of the technology and to see whether everything runs smoothly as we adapt to this new way of working.”
