An Oxford City Council housing tenant has been evicted following a series of anti-social behaviour and drug dealing incidents in the building.

A mandatory possession order for the property, in Richardson Court, Bath Street, was granted on 29 October 2019 at Oxford Combined Court Centre.

The court heard that anti-social behaviour, including verbal abuse of neighbours and possible drug dealing, had taken place from the property.

The City Council worked with neighbours, who were victims of the anti-social behaviour, on the case.

The tenant was evicted on Friday 17 January.

To report anti-social behaviour to the City Council’s Anti-Social Behaviour Investigation Team, please contact 01865 249811 or saferoxford@oxford.gov.uk.

“We take incidents of anti-social behaviour and drug dealing in Oxford very seriously. Whether you are a council housing tenant or not, if you are concerned about anti-social behaviour or drug dealing please let us know at saferoxford@oxford.gov.uk. We will take action to make Oxford safer for everyone.”
