St Aldate's Chambers Customer Service Centre and Telephone Contact Centre
Our St Aldate's Chambers Customer Service Centre will close for Christmas at 4.45pm on Friday 22 December 2017 and will reopen at 9am on Wednesday 27 December 2017.
For New Year the office with close at 4.45pm on Friday 29 December 2017 and will reopen at 9am on Tuesday 2 January 2018.
Our telephone contact centre (01865 249811) will also close at 4.45pm on Friday 22 December 2017 and Friday 29 December 2017.
Recycling and Waste Collections
During Christmas week (beginning 25 December) your usual collection day will be one day later (see table below):

If you have more recycling than will fit in the blue bin, please place it neatly by the side of your bin on collection day in a cardboard box or a clear bag. We are unable to collect recycling in black bags.
Garden waste collections, bulky waste collections and bin deliveries/retrievals will be suspended over the Christmas period from 25 December to 7 January 2017. We will not be taking bookings for these services between 25 December 2016 and 7 January 2017.
All services will resume week beginning 8 January 2018.

Leisure Centres, Swimming Pools and Ice Rink

All of our car parks will be in full operation over the Christmas and New year period, with the exception of Gloucester Green car park.
Gloucester Green Car Park will close at midnight on 24 December 2017 and will remain closed through Christmas day. The car park opens for business again at 7.30am on 26 December 2017. No vehicles will be able to enter or exit the car park during this period.
We will not charge for parking in any of our car parks on Christmas Day, however, payments made in error will not be refunded. Our normal charges will recommence on 26 December 2017.
Oxford Covered Market Opening Hours
The Covered Market will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
All other days will be normal trading hours - Monday to Saturday, 8am - 5pm and Sunday, 10am - 4pm
Oxford's parks will also be open during the Christmas period.

Christmas tree recycling
You can leave your real and naked (lights, decorations and pots removed) Christmas tree next to your blue bin/sacks between 9 January 2017 and 2 February 2018 on blue bin (recycling) collection day to be collected for recycling. You can also drop it off at one of the 12 sites across the city where the trees will be recycled into compost.
If you live in a flat, please do not leave your tree in the bin store, take it to one of the collection points below.
Christmas tree collection points are open between 27 December 2017 and 14 January 2018.
