The Lord Mayor of Oxford has taken the delivery of a 100% electric Nissan LEAF, as the city prepares to launch Britain’s first Zero Emission Zone (ZEZ) Pilot in city centre streets this August.

Oxford City Council and Pivot Power, part of EDF Renewables, have joined up with Fastned, Tesla Superchargers and Wenea to deliver Europe’s most powerful EV charging hub in Oxford.
The Council is undertaking further upgrades to its Go Ultra Low Oxford project, which will see the reliability of the ev chargers improved for trial participants and members of the public.
