ITV have partnered with The National Lottery to encourage people to use the time they'd normally watch TV to do some volunteering in the community (you can always catch up on ITV Hub later!).

No matter how little time you have or where you live, there’s always something you can do to help your community. You can even help out online or over the phone, from the comfort of your sofa.

OCVA have provided some guidance for voluntary and community groups to access information, support and advice in the current coronavirus situation. They have also published some advice for those looking to volunteer, along with a volunteer opportunity search website:

Giving blood and platelets is essential to the NHS and vulnerable patients. Please keep donating.

Their centres are open and you can still go to give blood. They have followed government guidelines to put special safety measures in place for social distancing.
