Nordic walking

Nordic Walking in Oxford has grown hugely over the past year and we're excited to have a wonderful team of instructors to push Nordic Walking to new levels in the city. 

Nordic Walking has many benefits above that of conventional walking:

  • Ability to work both the upper and lower body, burning nearly 50% more calories than normal walking alone
  • Great workout for those with joint or back problems due to the added support gained from the poles
  • Toning the upper and lower body at the same time
  • Great for the heart and lungs.

We currently have three Nordic Walking sites in Oxford:

Each of these locations have regular Learn to Nordic Walk courses, taster sessions and regular walks suitable for all abilities.
