Travelling here

By Bus

Many local buses stop on St Aldate's, for more information visit the Oxford Bus Company website.

By Bike

As the Town Hall and Museum are based in the centre of Oxford, there are plenty of bike stands to lock you bike to. The front of the Town Hall has several iron rings and there are bike stands just outside Santander Bank, opposite the Town Hall.

By Car

The best way to visit the Museum and city if you do need to take the car is to use one of the Park and Ride services available. The Museum is a short walk from all central stops on these services. Visit our Park and Ride pages for more information.

There are also car parks within the centre of Oxford. We recommend Oxpens car park. More information about charges and accessibility is available on our Car Parks pages.

Accessibilty

The Town Hall has a ground level entrance located just off of the High Street, on the immediate left past Edinburgh Woollen Mill. Please press the door buzzer to gain access and turn right once inside the building.
