Elections in Oxford - 6 May 2021

Covid-19 voting and communications to the clinically extremely vulnerable

Covid and voting

We will be following government guidelines and voting at a polling station will be safe. Polling stations will be equipped with hand sanitiser, and subject to regular and frequent cleaning of touch points, with the numbers of voters inside the buildings at any one time being limited.

Voters will be asked to wear face coverings, and are encouraged to bring their own pencil or pen to mark their ballot papers. Please also be prepared for socially-distanced queuing, possibly outside the polling place, as we manage the numbers inside.

If you prefer you can request an absent vote (postal or proxy).
