Business events and news

Oxford Business Forum

Our business forum events are held jointly on behalf of Oxford City Council, Oxfordshire County Council and the Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP). Our aim is to maintain and build strong links with local businesses and help to foster a positive enterprise culture in Oxford and its sub-region.

Three key events are held each year, which provide topical, high profile speakers and an opportunity to discuss current issues relevant to the local economy.

If you would like to come along please contact Samuel Kabiswa Tel: 01865 252316 or email [email protected].

Business in Oxford 2019

Now in its 6th year, BIO2019 will bring together over 500 of the county’s business owners, leaders, entrepreneurs and executives. BIO2019 will look at how to cultivate the right behaviours and adopt proven best practices to achieve and expand commercial business success. Come and learn from and be inspired by some of the region’s most prominent figures from business and beyond - a great combination of content comprised of CEO’s, entrepreneurs, innovators, thinkers, artists and more.

B4’s latest initiatives will also feature at BIO2019, with Oxfordshire Voice using the opportunity to canvass business opinion on the key issues facing Oxfordshire’s businesses and NXT, our new network for under 30’s, also featuring with guest speakers and a warm welcome to aspiring entrepreneurs, creatives and professionals.

2019's venue for BIO is the fantastic MINI Plant Oxford, in one of the original assembly halls, shaped by more than 100-years of car-making: MINI Plant Oxford, Cowley, Oxford, OX4 6NL
