Pack For Good campaign

We have partnered with the University of Oxford, Oxford Brookes and the British Heart Foundation (BHF) to encourage students to donate their unwanted items as they move out at the end of term.

The Pack For Good campaign, now in its eighth year, will see unwanted items donated to provide vital stock for BHF shops.

The profits raised from selling items will go towards the charity’s lifesaving research – and its fight for every heartbeat.

Last year in Oxford over 7,500 bags were collected. This is equivalent to the weight of 10.1 elephants and this has raised over £105,000!

Materials collected provides revenue to support students studying heart disease.

What to donate

Students and staff at both universities, along with residents of Oxford, are encouraged to donate:

  • Clothing
  • Shoes
  • Accessories
  • CDs
  • DVDs
  • Books
  • Kitchenware
  • Small electricals, such as hair dryers and hair straighteners
