    A community exhibition celebrating the vibrant contributions made to the cultural life of Oxford by those who have travelled to the city to live, work, visit and study. Featuring photographs, objects, textiles, art, creative writing, sculpture, oral history and archival materials created and chosen by Oxford’s communities, this exhibition is an inspiring insight into the journeys made to Oxford by people from all over the world. The project has included partnerships with the Migration Museum Project, Oxford Hindu Temple Project, Refugee Resource, Oxford Polish Society, BKLUWO, Cowley Road Carnival, and Bayards Hill Primary School.

    Please note that we are not open on Sundays. 

  • From South Wales to Oxford By Katherine Hughes and the Searchers

    With the Wall Street Crash and depression in mining, people in the South Wales valleys faced ill health, starvation, and political attack by the pit owners. Many were forced to leave their homes with some arriving on foot in Oxford. Join Kath and the Searchers for a talk as part of our Journeys to Oxford project.

    Available 10am to 4.30pm. Monday to Saturday. Museum of Oxford is closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
