    A community exhibition celebrating the vibrant contributions made to the cultural life of Oxford by those who have travelled to the city to live, work, visit and study. Featuring photographs, objects, textiles, art, creative writing, sculpture, oral history and archival materials created and chosen by Oxford’s communities, this exhibition is an inspiring insight into the journeys made to Oxford by people from all over the world. The project has included partnerships with the Migration Museum Project, Oxford Hindu Temple Project, Refugee Resource, Oxford Polish Society, BKLUWO, Cowley Road Carnival, and Bayards Hill Primary School.

    Please note that we are not open on Sundays.

    Director of the Afrikan and Afrikan Caribbean Kultural Heritage Initiative (ACKHI)  Junie James will be giving a talk on the work of ACKHI to promote, protect and preserve the  history, heritage and culture of people of black Afrikan heritage living and working in Oxfordshire. The talk will be followed by the launch of the Oxfordshire Afrikan History Season/Beyond Black History month programme.
